The ICC and FICS internet chess servers allow users to share and replay games and view positions and problems with each other. If you already have an account at one of these, then we can use it for our sessions. Otherwise, you may wish to visit the websites, review the pages, and choose which one you would like to use. There are many different programs that allow you to access these servers - and not only for Windows, but also for Mac and Linux. The standard program for ICC is called Dasher (click to visit download/installation page). How to use Dasher. There are several programs which can be used to access FICS. I recommend BabasChess for Windows users. Mac and Linux users can choose from several different programs, perhaps the nicest of which is Jin (which actually also works on Windows).
